Its the most important question you will ever ask yourself and its not even that difficult to attain salvation.
You must first understand that:
- Everyone has sinned (Romans 3:23)
- We will be judged for those sins (2 Corinthians 5:10)
- The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) and after comes the judgment (Hebrews 9:27)
But God loved us so much that he made a way for us through the death of his only son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus took on all our sins and paid the price for them (death) so that we wouldnt have to. But we have to claim that
sacrifice as our own. How do we do that?
How to be saved?
- Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
- Repent of our sins.
- Confess our faith in Jesus before others.
- Be baptized (as the outward sign of an inner change) in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- Remain faithful to the Lord the rest of our life.
Sample Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner in need of a savior. I ask you to come into my heart
and make me a new creation in you. Lord, help me to remain faithful to you. Guide and teach me in your ways and
protect me from Satans snares.
